Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CRA Compliance Suite ("the Service"), operated by Terry Arthur Consulting ("we," "us," "our"), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

CRA Compliance Suite is a software-as-a-service platform that analyzes WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks for compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act. The Service provides automated security analysis, vulnerability scanning, Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, compliance scoring, and actionable recommendations.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• One person or organization may not maintain multiple free accounts.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code intended to harm our systems
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to attack, scan, or probe systems you do not own
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized users to access your account
• Exceed your plan's usage limits through automation or circumvention
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free accounts are limited to the features and usage described on our pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Square. Prices are listed in USD.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refund requests within the first 30 days of a new subscription will be honored in full.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Founding Member Program

The founding member offer (free year of access for the first 50 paid subscribers) is subject to availability. Once all founding member spots are filled, the offer expires. The free year applies to the initial subscription period only; renewal is at the standard plan price.

6. Intellectual Property

• Your code: You retain all ownership rights to the plugins, themes, and blocks you upload. We do not claim any rights to your code.
• Analysis results: Analysis reports, scores, and recommendations generated by the Service are provided for your use. You may share, publish, or include them in your documentation.
• Our platform: The Service, including its analysis engine, scoring algorithms, interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Terry Arthur Consulting.

7. Limitation of Liability

Analysis results are informational, not legal guarantees. While we strive for accuracy, our compliance analysis does not constitute legal advice and does not guarantee that your products meet all CRA requirements. You are responsible for ensuring your own regulatory compliance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terry Arthur Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We provide the Service on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Enterprise subscribers receive an SLA as specified in their agreement. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice.

9. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time. Account deletion is permanent and removes all associated data within 30 days.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, after providing notice when practical.
• Upon termination, you may request an export of your data before deletion.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
